Nor Hisham said Kuala Lumpur City Hall DBKL plans to extend KLStep to public markets in the city such as at Jalan Raja Bot, but is still looking into the best method as the area is open and has freedom of movement.

    Business premises in Kuala Lumpur can now use a new app called KLStep to record customers’ details, thanks to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). To use this system, customers need to scan the quick response (QR) code on display at the entrance to the premises with their smartphone, before keying in their name, temperature and telephone number.
