Kuching food aid - The Kuching Food Aid project

This one is super effective and fast to do because we have partnered with supermarkets who can pack the aid for you.

Typical RM50 Food Aid Box includes: 5kg Rice 30 Fresh Eggs 2 Packets of Biscuits 2 Packets of Dry Beehoon 1 X Canned Sardines in Tomato 1 X Canned Pickled Lettuce 1 Bottle Kicap Manis 1kg Sugar 500g Flour 1L Cooking Oil Families living in Kampungs regularly get hit with floods and fires resulting in a loss of all their bedding.

There is zero administrative cost.

Other residents are elderly grandparents who are taking care of their young grandchildren whilst their adult children have migrated to the cities to earn a living.

The way we fundraise and help the poor during this pandemic has had to shift.

They were very grateful for the foodaid provided and wanted us to convey their thanks to the generous donors and volunteers working so hard on this project, providing a lifeline to families in need throughout Sarawak.

Volunteers who risk being exposed to COVID when delivering aid always thank us for your generosity.

We then plan how many will be packed and collected by a volunteer.
